Hi Journal!
Sorry I haven't been posting lately it's because my grandfather was a bit sick so my whole family went to his house in Minnesota and there are no internet connections there...
Anyway I'm back and I just wanna let you guys know that now I'll be posting regularly. Oh, and especially to baseballalex also known as my baseball team mate, Alex. Geez, I know you like my blog idea, but if you wanna say something just say it in one comment, now FIVE different comments! And YES, I'm still gonna play pitcher, in fact that I've found a new pitch I call the Sparrow. I'll tell you about it later, Alex, in the baseball field.
Anyway, now to the regular news. Mom started a vegetable garden in the backyard because she doesn't want to have to buy all the canned veggies and stuff. I'm trying to tell her it's like in the World War Two when the soldiers need the tin and people start planting their own veggies. She said, "So?" And I said, "No, that's cool."
I have tons of homework, especially Science, and I've chosen a topic for my English project... WRITING! I guess I've always loved doing it, although drawing and sports are just as important to me. But I guess, in a different way, writing is super important to me. Besides, I'm gonna be a writer who illustrates her own books and coaches a baseball team when I grow up.
That's all for today. Oh, and I was just listening to this one Justin Bieber song. I don't really like him but this one is pretty good. I found the lyrics on YouTube. It's called Love Me. I'm also listening to a few Taylor Swift songs but I forgot the links.
See ya guys later!

The Sandlot 2
Hi Journal!
Today me and my Dad went to the video rental shop. We'll watch them for this Saturday's movie night. Our family usually have movie nights when we go to the TV and pop in a movie and some popcorn and watch it.
So I've watched The Sandlot 3, and I think it's gonna be fun if I watch the first and second ones. We can't find the first Sandlot but we did find the second one. I'm SO excited 'cause the cover is pretty cool, although I'll admit that I don't think it's entirely about baseball. Still, we're gonna watch it this Saturday, and I hope it's a great movie! While we're at it, we also bought some microwave popcorn, topping, and some other snacks.
Today I didn't play baseball with the other guys because I have some extra homework to catch up with. Mark is SO lucky. He's my twin brother and he likes homework more than I do. Plus, he likes Math.
Anyway last night I went to E-Mail Kids Pen Pals Club on the internet 'cause my parents finally lets me get a pen pal, as long as I don't give them a picture of me or tell my address or anything. I'm SO excited! I haven't checked my e-mail yet but I will soon, and I hope I get at least two pen pals!

English Project
Dear Journal,
Today we didn't play baseball because it sort of rained, but anyways Mrs. Andrews gave us this English project. We're supposed to write about something we love doing very much, our true passion in life, or something like that. And I horribly can't choose between...
I just wanna know what you think. Which is pretty lame since nobody except my family reads my blog anyway. And maybe Alex. But not the others.
Anyway, bye!

- Drawing and sketching
- Writing

Hi!
Hi, sorry for not posting for a few days, but well I was busy...
Anyway today there was a new kid in our class, his name is Dave Callsen and he likes to play baseball too. So yeah like today we played a bit and again, I was the pitcher. I think I'd better be permanent there. I never played any other position except for a few batting roles.
My cousin, James, came over today and saw my blog and said it was pretty good for a beginner. Thanks, James!
And, of course, along with James came my cousin Emma. Emma's okay, but she keeps asking me why I always play with boys and not girls. I told her that some girls are a big pain to be with, but she didn't seem to get it so she went with us to play baseball but cried when she got an out. Well, she's six, so I don't really blame her.
Alex scored a home run today. It was a tough inning, and when Tom finally got to home base, Alex was rounding the third. He's fast, he really is. So before Brian (centerfield player) could toss it to the catcher (Jeff, in this game), Alex already slided there, and he scored a home run!
We're trying out for the Little League this spring, although we lost the last game there.
So, that's all for today, and I hope I can post again tomorrow! See ya!

Baseball Game
Hi there Journal!
Today I had a great time playing baseball with my friends! We only had five innings before it started to get dark, but overall it was worth it! I play pitcher (because I have a good aim), but other times I play catcher (because I have great eye contact and can easily catch the ball). Mostly I play pitcher, though, even though we take turns. Jeff plays catcher. We'd take turns, but Jeff has a horrible aim (even he admits it) so he usually wound up as catcher.
Brian plays centerfield. Well, either he does or Andrew does. They draw straws in doing it. When one wins the other gets to play the third base.
Alex is the fastest runner in our team, and he has an awesome swing too. His bat always connected with the ball and it always lands in the outfield (or it doesn't land at all, which means it goes over the fence and we can never get it back). Seriously, I think he would be the best ball player if only he had a glove. His old glove is ratted and matty and it really isn't worth for playing baseball at all. We're helping him save up for a new one, though. It takes ages.
So I wound up pitching today. I don't think I'm really good at anything else. I mean, I can run fast, and I can catch balls and swing and everything, but pitching is really what I do best.
Anyway, we played five innings. I didn't get a turn, but I don't mind.
Today we had Chinese takeout for dinner, and I especially loved the fortune cookies (not that I like to eat it, I'm usually full, but I love reading the different fortunes). I can't tell you what my fortune is, but it's a good one and it's true 'cause I seem to have pretty much good luck today. I wish we could eat Chinese takeout everyday so I know what my fortune is everyday. Dad said fortune cookies aren't real fortunes but I like to read them anyway.
Oh, and I just listened to the Numa Numa Song on YouTube. And it's really good, you should listen to it too. That's all for now. See you later!

My New Journal
Hello!
Yeah I know this sounds, like, corny, but today I read this book called Letters to Leah (it was pretty good) and it was about this girl called Tessa who had a best friend called Leah who died in a car accident and copes with the loss by pretending to write letters to her. It was really cool.
And, I don't know why, but I just sort of got the idea of making a blog here! And my cousin, James, made a blog about soccer by using Blogger, so I thought I'd do the same!
Of course, I'd have to get a few tips, but making a blog is fairly easy.
And, as the title says, this blog will be my journal, I mean like a virtual one, no matter how corny it sounds.
Okay, so more about me here...
I LOVE playing sports. Especially baseball and soccer. Oh, and basketball is great in the winter too. And I live in Corvallis, Oregon, and currently it's spring here so yeah like awesome I can play baseball. And I play BASEBALL, not softball. I mean, the boy kind. The kind with a really hard ball that can knock you out. And because I play baseball, I mostly play it with boys. Yeah, I've got a lot of buddies.
Secondly, I am an ABSOLUTE tomboy. I hate girl stuff like dolls and make-up and bracelets and stuff. I guess it's just because I have three brothers. Besides, boy stuff are cooler. Sometimes it's pretty hard to admit that I'm a girl, but other times, well, I just learn to accept things the way it is. Oh, and I hate skirts. Especially the really short ones that show off your thighs. I think they should be against the law or something.
I have long red hair, green eyes, and freckles. My eyes are, like, really dark green. And my hair is the kind that's really chestnut red. And I have loads of freckles. I guess it's because I spend so much time in the sun, but everyone in my family has freckles, so I guess it's inheritance.
I'm also really smart. I don't mean to brag or anything, but I really am smart. My favorite subjects, though, are PE, English, and Science.
Also, although I do have a few girl friends, I mostly play with boys. I love rough games. The rougher the better! And I haven't got a girl best friend, but my boy best friends are Alex and Tom.
Besides playing sports, I also love to read. I bet I've read more than a million book my whole life. So far. My favorite books are the How to Train Your Dragon series, and I also like the movie. I also love The Mysterious Benedict Society, and my favorite character is Kate. I also love Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and The Twits by Roald Dahl. He's my favorite author! And I've read the whole A-Z Mysteries series.
My favorite colors are blue and green. My favorite food is pizza (especially with sausage and cheese topping), and sometimes I wish I could be a blonde. Then again most blonde girls are girly so maybe I'll cross that one wish out.
I also love writing and I talk a lot, so making a blog will probably help me.
See you guys later! Please comment! Bye!
